Meditate on Him

I read this yesterday morning and thought is was very inspirational. I thought I would share it.

E-29    Oh, friend, I hope the little lady doesn't take this too personally, but it's my daughter-in-law, who's setting present now. This has been the greatest week of her life. Last evening while we were setting together waiting for Billy to bring the car back, in the lobby of the hotel, and on the ballroom floor they were having a rock-and-roll, or some kind of a amusing dance. And little children, little boys no more than twelve years old or less, smoking cigarettes, and little girls. And the little lady looked at me, and she said, "Billy, pray for me." All week over in her room, I've heard her singing songs. I heard her singing last evening before she went to church, my favorite song, "Down From His Glory." She started reading the Bible, and she's pretty near read the Bible through this week. You go to singing hymns; you start reading the Bible; and that Stranger will appear to you too. Meditate on His Word.
It was while those who went to Emmaus, along the road, begin to talk about Him, that He stepped out of the bushes and walked with them through the day. The reason we don't have the spiritual blessings, we have too much time to watch television, too much time to read the newspapers or listen to something that we ought not to be listening to. And we are not redeeming the time, but we're giving it to the things of the world instead of our time to the Lord Jesus. And the Bible said, that, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth from the mouth of God." Christians live on the Word.

I Am Home From Honduras

I have been in Honduras for the past 3 weeks on a mission trip to Honduras. We saw the hand of the Lord work in our midst throughout the whole trip. There were several new converts to the Lord Jesus Christ, many rededicated their life to the Lord, and many praise reports from healing. I truly have a burden for the saints there. This was my first time going back in two years. I got to see fruits from our previous trips while we were there. We had opportunity to fellowship with saints that surrendered their heart to the Lord during our previous trips. It is so wonderful to see my Lord in Battle!! These trips are not a one man show. It is a team effort, where brothers have a calling in their life to minister the word. We then  pray and seek leadership from the Lord. My Brother Miller, has been going overseas for 20 years now. He and my other precious Brother Paco interpret the services for me, when I go, because I can't speak Spanish. We pray and seek for leadership for who the Lord would have speak each service. I love to hear my brothers minister the word just as much as I do to preach it myself. Brother Miller and Brother Paco absolutely amaze me how they can surrender to the mind of the Lord and be used by Him. They have quite a bit more experience than me, so I appreciate the opportunity to watch and learn. They are true soldiers of the cross that have a great reward awaiting them. Our ultimate goal is not to just get people to join the church, but to lead them to a true born again experience in the Word of God. I will be starting prison ministry in the next couple of weeks. I would appreciate you asking the Lord to help me follow His leadership that I many effectively minster to His children. I will attach a few photos from the trip to this blog.

God Bless You,
Bro Daniel
